Overview
The Daniel Island Club is the island’s private, developer-owned country club. Club amenities include two nationally-ranked golf courses, a golf learning center, casually elegant clubhouse and a separate swim, tennis and fitness facility. The Daniel Island Club is the primary social and recreational amenity of Daniel Island Park, the exclusive neighborhood located on the north end of the island.

Beresford Creek Course

Golf Learning Center and Practice Range
The Daniel Island Club’s practice range measures more than 400 yards from front to back. Mature live oaks define practice fairways that allow players to simulate on-course tee shots, and bunkers and swales frame many of the target greens. Led by former PGA touring professional Ron Cerrudo, the Golf Learning Center offers group and one-on-one instruction. The Golf Learning Center is open to Club members and, on a limited basis, by appointment to non-members.

Park Club Amenities
The Park Club houses the Daniel Island Club’s swim, tennis and fitness facilities in a resort-style setting. Features include two swimming pools, a state-of-the-art fitness center, a tennis pavilion, 11 tennis courts (2 hard surface, 8 Har-Tru and the area’s only grass court) and a cabana bar and grill.

Clubhouse
The golf clubhouse is the center of the club’s social and dining offerings. It offers scenic views overlooking the marsh and Beresford Creek and is flanked on either side by the closing hole of each of the club’s golf courses. Indoor and outdoor fine and casual dining is available, as well as a pub, locker rooms and a golf shop. A grand ballroom can accommodate up to 500 people for weddings and other special events. The adjoining gallery and a private meeting room are available for smaller groups. The clubhouse is currently undergoing a 24,000 sq. ft. expansion that will add expanded locker rooms, a new golf shop, a private dining room and a second-floor Grill Room to the clubhouse offerings. Construction is expected to be complete in spring of 2009.

Other Amenities
Other recreational opportunities for members include a regulation croquet court in front of the clubhouse, a bocce court and a kayak launch.
